Gabrieli Roar: ‘Re-Creation’

The fifth and final concert of a Gabrieli Roar initiative to re-start young people singing across the country, following the enforced break caused by the pandemic. Re-Creation will see performances of Haydn's great choral work, The Creation, in cathedrals across the UK, engaging almost 1000 young people.

Bach Feast Days: Epiphany

The feast of Epiphany has traditionally been celebrated on January 6, the date when Bach’s Cantata No. 65 was first heard in Leipzig in 1724 as part of his first cantata cycle. His Cantata No. 156 is later, initially performed on the third Sunday of Epiphany, January 23 1729.
