Gabrieli Roar presents Handel Saul at Ely Cathedral

Join us for what many of you tell us the highlight of the Gabrieli calendar, the final concert of the Gabrieli Roar Residential Course, which this year is a performance of Handel’s epic biblical oratorio, Saul.
Twenty years ago this was a mainstay of the Gabrieli diary – our musicians are so excited to immerse themselves in this music once again, this time with the added exhilaration of a choir of over 200 young singers revelling in Handel’s glorious choruses which range from celebration to fury and mourning.
The performance at Ely Cathedral will feature soloists Nardus Williams, Charlotte Bowden and Christopher Lowrey, with Matthew Brook in the title role.
