Experience the timeless tragedy of love and destiny in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, reimagined in a powerful performance that brings together over 350 young voices. In collaboration with Leicestershire Music Hub, this production features a massed chorus of young singers from primary and secondary schools across Leicestershire performing the opera’s stirring choruses. Interwoven throughout the performance are folk songs and sea shanties, thematically linked to the story of the opera.
