Past Events

A varied programme of some of Purcell’s finest works; the first half comprising music of farewell and consolation in memory of Kader Hassissi, founder of the Beaune Festival and friend of Gabrieli Consort & Players for many years who sadly recently passed away. This will be followed by a second half containing Purcell’s most richly extravagant score in praise of the power of music.
