The historic Chapel at Trinity College, Cambridge plays host to Venetian Coronation in November, as Gabrieli opens the 2017 Cambridge Music Festival.

A fantastic recreation of the coronation mass of the Venetian Doge Marino Grimani in 1595, Venetian Coronation has become synonymous with Gabrieli, not least because it focuses on works by composers Andrea and Giovanni Gabrieli. Ever-green, this will be the first revival of the programme since sold-out performances in New York’s Lincoln Center and Madrid’s Auditorio Nacional last season.
