This unique project brings together a massed chorus of primary and secondary school students to perform powerful choruses Purcell’s famous hour-long opera. Interwoven throughout are folk songs and sea shanties, thematically linked to the story, creating a fresh and inspiring retelling of Purcell’s masterpiece.
