We were delighted to return to London’s Wigmore Hall in May 2015, as part of their Henry Purcell: A Retrospective series, with two performances covering Purcell’s complete Birthday Odes for Queen Mary. With the Gabrieli Players and our soloists only just fitting onto the Wigmore’s stage, the evenings were a jubilant celebration of one of England’s finest composers, featuring a cast of wonderful British singers including Anna Dennis, Robin Blaze, Nicholas Mulroy, Jeremy Budd and Peter Harvey.
