“May the Gabrieli Consort & Players live forever in health and glory” The Times

For over thirty years, Gabrieli have been challenging the classical music establishment with our bold programming and delighting audiences with our thought-provoking performances and benchmark recordings.

With no public funding, and ticket income from even sell-out performances falling far short of the true cost of a performance, our supporters, corporate partners, and generous trusts and foundations are at the heart of everything that we achieve.

If you want to support Gabrieli’s ambitious artistic programme, and our vital education work with Gabrieli Roar, why not join us: get involved in our work by becoming part of our family of supporters. You can help secure the future of this pioneering ensemble today!

Funding News

We are delighted to announce that our ground-breaking training scheme for teenage singers, Gabrieli Roar, has been awarded funding from Arts Council England’s Grant for the Arts. This funding will support the costs of our Summer 2016 residential course and performance at Ely Cathedral as part of the Cambridge Summer Music Festival, and will allow us to reach even more young singers through extended outreach work with schools and choirs in the Cambridgeshire region.

We are extremely grateful to Arts Council England for their support of a scheme which celebrates excellence in choral singing. With their funding, Gabrieli Roar’s work will extend to thousands of musicians of all ages across the UK.

Gabrieli Roar still needs financial support to meet its goals for this year and beyond. To discuss how you can bring professional standard choral singing to teenagers around the country, please contact Susie York Skinner (

In addition to our Arts Council funding, we are also thrilled to have funding from new corporate partners PwC, who will be contributing towards Gabrieli’s core costs this season. PwC is well known for its support of arts organisations, most notably the Old Vic, and we are delighted that our exciting plans for this season have attracted their support will benefit from their investment.
