Gabrieli kicked off the 25th anniversary season with Haydn's Creation at the Barbican
With 200 performers on stage, the Barbican performance on 26 October involved one of the largest incarnations of the ensemble to have been seen in London. Massed Gabrieli forces were joined by members of the Chamber Choir from Chetham's School of Music as part of the first Gabrieli educational collaboration.
