Rave Reviews for Acis and Galatea 10.05.07

"A series of ravishing musical moments"

The Gabrieli Consort & Players' Christ Church Spitalfields performance of Handel's Acis and Galatea (25 April) received rave reviews in the UK national press.  

Described in the Independent as "a series of ravishing musical moments," among the praises in the Guardian were of Rosemary Joshua's "pearly, pristine tone" and Paul Agnew's "immaculate grace."

Acis and Galatea will also be performed later this year on 23 May at Palacio de la Opera, La Coruña, Spain; 10 November at Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, Zagreb, Croatia; and 13 November at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam.
