New Chair of Gabrieli 28.01.10
After chairing the Gabrieli Board for 14 years, Ron Haylock handed over to Richard Brown on 1st January 2010. Ron will continue on the Board for several months to help with the transition.
Richard Brown has been a Gabrieli Trustee for some years and said "I am delighted to be chairing this world-renowned group which has a leading edge in vocal and instrumental music and is so exciting in what it has to say. We all owe Ron a deep debt of gratitude. He has led the Board through good and difficult times and injected personal funds, as well as his enormous store of expertise, to ensure that Gabrieli remains a vibrant force in the musical world."
