Gabrieli’s latest recording on Paul McCreesh’s Winged Lion Records, and our first Handel disc in over 10 years, was released on 04 May, and we’re thrilled that it immediately entered the Classical Charts Top 5. This recording was a real labour of love, with tracks being laid down over a period of three years due to the threat of our boy treble’s voice breaking, and the need to use a variety of recording venues in order to accurately recreate sound world of the work’s very first performance.
