We’re delighted to announce that our debut Australian tour of Purcell  King Arthur  in February 2019 has been awarded the 2019 Helpmann Award for Best Chamber/Instrumental Ensemble Performance!

The Helpmann Awards – Australia’s premiere live performance awards – are given each year to celebrate excellence across musical theatre, contemporary music, comedy, opera, theatre and dance, as well as in classical music. All of us at Gabrieli are honoured to receive this recognition, and grateful to our partners at Melbourne Recital Centre and the State Opera of South Australia, without whose support our performances earlier in the year wouldn’t have been possible.
