To mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, this December Gabrieli revive Praetorius: Mass for Christmas Morning. This glorious reconstruction of a typical 17th century Lutheran Christmas Mass – the 1994 recording of which remains Gabrieli’s bestselling release on Deutsche Grammophon – is beloved the world over, and for good reason. Blending intimate solo vocal colours with historical instruments of every shape and size and massed choirs of professional and amateur voices, this is German baroque music at its most thrilling and dynamic.

Join us for the second performance of the revival on Sunday 3 December, 4.00pm at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bradford, where we’ll be joined by young singers from our Gabrieli Roar partner Bradford Catholic Youth Choir.
