Released in May 2015, our latest recording of Handel’s L’Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato has already attracted substantial critical success, but we were particularly pleased to receive the news that it has been nominated for the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Although a nomination in itself is a great honour, the winners of these prestigious awards will be announced in LA on 15 February 2016 (sadly we couldn’t quite stretch to the air fare!) and we look forward to seeing how our Handel disc gets on. In addition to our GRAMMY nomination, in December L’Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato was also selected as one of the top 100 recordings of 2015 by The Sunday Times and by The Daily Telegraph as one of their top 10 recordings of the year.
